A quick, yet effective (I think anyway) double page layout. I got 2 pieces of 12x12s that looked similar, cut a third off each & stuck them back on the other sheet giving a subtle variation in the pattern.
I then stuck my photos onto a sheet of lined paper, cut to size and inked the edges in brown.
I added my journalling and used stickers to add the date.
Everything was stuck down before adding a few details & the title in the form of stickers.

I can't even see the join, try as I might, where you've blended the two papers!

You are on a roll K, another great scrapbooking memento. Strange seeing snow in June though! Love the design of these pages.
